Music Production
Music is a popular art form enjoyed by people all over the world for a variety of purposes. There was once a time when people could only experience the joy of music in the live setting, but technology eventually caught up with it and we can now record and produce music so that people can enjoy it in the comfort of their own home. Music production is taken for granted somewhat, with people only thinking to credit the music’s artist when they hear their favourite song on the radio or listen to it on their mp3 player. But there is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes.
In music production, an artist writes and assembles a piece of music which is then electronically edited into the song you hear through your speakers. A music producer must mix together the sounds and make sure certain prominence is given to particular instruments of vocals, making sure nothing is drowned out or clashes with another instrument.
The process is long and hard, showing that the music we hear regularly should be credited to those that produce music as well as perform it.
